Any body else have problems with american muscle???????

This is what I think :flipoff::flipoff::flipoff::flipoff:

I dont know if most of you know or not but I had trouble with my rims I bought off a guy in Tenn. (one was bent) tried to get it fixed....couldnt....
so..........
I bought a new one from american musle....all is done right.....

No I recieved the new one last tue. took it to andy an volvo cincinnati to find out that the new one is bent also. it was bent on the back lip 0.75 0.5

I emailed them toay to see how this return will go but I dont think it looks good because I had to mount the bent new one because I needed my car (couldnt have it on jacks to wait for a new one) because I drive it to and from work and its my only car.

We'll see how it goes and I just wanted to see if any one else had problems with them....
Im so done with these stupid f$#king rims :mad:

American muscle = :HYF:

Let me know if they want it back.We can dismount it and box it up here for you.Trust me,it wont take as long next time, that tech is a freakin moron. We are never that damn busy, but it seems like everyone and there mother decided to stop by with there beater to have it fixed.JUst let me know what American Muscle says, and we can dismount that bad boy,ive got plenty of boxes in the back.

I took a look at there return policy......bad news It states that
"if any rim is mounted and balanced they will not except returns"

I put in my email that I need the car and could not have it on jacks to wait for a new one so we"ll see what happens. It doesnt really shake but to me it just seems like the car pulls every once and a while I dont know if im just being anal about it or because I know its bent but something just doesnt seem like it was when I had the other rims on there. It doesnt seem to want to handle right

What do you expect from knock-off wheels? Probably the UPS guy's fault. They slam shit around. "oh my god, my Ralex isn't keeping good time!" Ahahahahah, just kidding. Hope they help you out I was thinking of buying something from them.

Well Ive just heard other bad storys about them and was wondering if that was just a quincadence or what.

But knock-offs or not if I pay $170 for a rim I expect it to be perfect...Atleast not bent you know...Shipping was free so I expect them to at least have insurence on their packages or to put a f$#king fragile sticker on it or something...

I doubt Ill get the help I need, (its all too complicated to type it all and thats not the point of the thread) I just wanted to see about other ppl experiences with them.

I've bought 2 sets of rims with tires for our cars with no problems. Even though the tires kept the rims from getting bent. Chances are the shippers dropped the box in transit. UPS and Fed Ex have a standard $100 insurance on their ground boxes. If you need more they charge a little more. Did you just sign for it without taking it out and looking at it or did they just drop it off? You might be able to file with the shippers but I don't know since your already mounted a tire to it.

I've bought several things from American Muscle and never had any problems, hope they take care of it for you but unfortunately if you mounted the wheel you may be out of luck.

yea they just droped it off, I wasnt even home....dont you think they could put some fragil sticker on there or something because like it was posted before you know it gets thrown around during shipping or have it packaged better. there was some soft wraping rapped around it to prevent marks and about a little bit of heavy duty bubble paper covering maybe 1/2 or the rim when I opened it.

I was screwed I needed the tires mounted so I had no choice but I think you might be right Im screwed with the return.

I mean it was off 0.75 0.5 (looked like the back lip) that shouldnt effect the tire tread or wear right? We put it on the back...I didnt know what else to do Andy got the tire to balance so

Hey,ill dismount it and make it look like no one has ever touched it.Let me know.
I never buy from outside vendor's.If i have to,its a good source.Ive heard of a couple horror stories from American Muscle. They are garbage, ill never buy from them. And this just proves it.Lets see how good there loyalty is to the allmighty customer.
Did you feel any bad vibes on the expy?

No bad vibrations that I could tell....besides the roads ....

Just for some reason it just doesnt feel right to me. Like I said before IDK if im just being anal bc I know its bent or the 1 inch difference from my 17x8 to 17x9 or what but the handeling just doesnt fell like it did before.

I already emailed them and said I had to mount it so we'll see I just have a bad feeling that they are really not going to give a f$#k and blame UPS or use the "mounted NO return" card so.....

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO yeah!!!!!!!!!!!

I belong to another form called mustang forums  and American muscle sponsors their form so I got on there and complained about the new wheel being bent.

Well.......................... this is the PM they sent me, Hope it happens......

Justin,

That is not a problem, many of our customer's cars are daily drivers, so it is our policy to cross-ship most items to keep your downtime to a minimum. In this case, I am just going to setup a replacement to be sent out for you. Do not worry about sending the old one back, you can just discard it or use it as a spare.

I did take a look in your order and I did not see any notes regarding this problem, so it looks like we did not receive your original email. In the future if a matter requires urgent attention, or you do not hear back from us within 24 hours of sending an email during the business week, you should give us a call and one of our Customer Service Representatives should be able to assist you immediately.

Thanks,

Nick

NOW THATS WHAT I CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE :D:D:D

I dont know what im going to do with it bc I have two bent ones now...one new and one used......So IDK

I was thinking about trying to get the new one fixed ($80-$90) at cliffs and selling it or using it as my spare tire. The used bent one is un-fixable so that is just my new decoration. I was thinking I might keep them bent to decorate my garage when I get one IDK

But I am trying not to get too excited about it because I want to see if it happens first.

hey now none of this bent s&@t happened bc of me....:flipoff:

I didnt bend either one....No but my luck would be that the new one they send will be f@#ked too...now thats my luck.

ehhhhhh about the snow tires I only have two and the used bent one is pretty f@#ked up I dont even think you could get a tire balanced on it. But the new one Andy did get balanced so I might just leave it as is and get a used cheap tire some where and just have a spare because like Andy said my luck with rims is....lets just say :HYF:.... yea that will do
