Random problem but, My steering wheel squeaks. weird huh? anyone know why? or how to fix it?

Take your girlfriends head out from underneath it. lol
On a serious note, it is probably the ring underneath that allows electrical current up to the horn and cruise switches. Im sure theres a lube for that.

Yea its probly that,unless its the plastic rubbing together squeek.If its the stuff dedpedal is talkin about just use some dialectric grease.

Dielctric grease mabbe? Im not sure if that will work or if white Lithium is what you need. Im having a brain fart here.

lol yeah i. have no idea what to use. or how to even take the steering wheel apart. im not a fan of airbags at all..

Lithium is more of a lubricant then anything.
dialectric is a lubricant and conducts electricity.Its what ford goops in some of there wheathered electrical fittings.I dont know if lithium will work,ill check though.

Just disconnect the battery for about an hour.AThats sufficiant time for the reserve to deplete itself.Then just unbolt it from the steering wheel.Two bolts on either side of the wheel and pull the bag toward the front and release the connector for it and thats it.No worries,its just an airbag.

Dont sit in the car when you are doing this. be under the steering wheel, on the floor. so if it gos off you dont get to kiss it.

yea cuz that would suck. mustang airbags hurt. i think the plastic part of the steering wheel is what really gets ya
