Seing all these pics of Vinny, and some of the crazy shit we did, I no longer feel sad. Im actually feeling better and I realize that I got to hang with the COOLEST GUY EVER!! I see all the people HE brought together and well....Im at ease with his passing. I still miss him, but most of the pain is now replaced.

Im at ease with his passing. I still miss him, but most of the pain is now replaced.

I feel the same way. The pain will never go away (for me), but there is nothing I can do about it, except share the memories with the people he was closest wtih. ;)

That was where i first met Vinny and a few of you guys...that was my first cruise in. The place was packed when i got there and i had to park off the side of the road on the other side of that side street next to that place.

WOW! I remember seeing that cruise-in on my way to work before I was a Stangbanger! I was on my way to work at Pep Boys in my yellow Mustang II, I saw all those mustangs and put it in neutral and revved it up, all you guys prolly looked over and saw that and laughed!! :lol:

You know, looking at these pics really make me regret that I didnt know Vinny as well as all of you guys did. I mean, we'd talk in passing at shows, like CoC, or we'd talk at the cruise-ins, but I didnt spend time with him like you guys all have.... but the thing is.. he would always make me feel like we'd known each other forever.

I still get a lump in my throat when thinking about him being gone... a year after the fact. Im not sure if any other person Ive met or will ever meet will have this kind of impact on me. I can think of my grandparents passing away, but I dont get quite the sinking feeling I do when thinking about Vinny. I feel kind of bad saying that, but it goes to show what kind of person Vinny really was. I wish I could've thrown back a few beers with him.

If I brought the mood down in this post, Im sorry, just wanted to share :)

I remember that night well. He was in the garage banging around, and he came upstairs and said "get the camera and come downstairs in 5 minutes". I walked in the garage and busted out laughing, he was making car noises, and shifting like he was really driving. He was such a goof, one of the many reasons I love him!
