tire question

looking to get some welds with tires for my 89 gt fox....i just want the rears but wanted to kno what size tire will fit.....if someone can....give me the correct size i need without having to roll the fenders or anything else...i just want to put them on and go

Are you looking to put a regualar street radial or a slick on it?

I had an 89 GT with 15x8, 5.5" backspacing. With 295/50 street radials. It looked real good and didnt rub. Quad shock removal is a must. Its the calypso green gt.

wanting to put a street radial but just for the track....probably not slicks unless i find a nice set...

You could swing by and we could try and bolt on my set. If nothing else, you'd know what's too big!

my buddy has 26's on his and he said they dont rub or anything and he didnt have to do anythng to his fenders so i thinnk your 28's will be too tall...
