Hopefully theres power in numbers and I humbly ask everyone for your prayers.

The wife went to the doc today and they told her that the baby didnt gain any weight. We are due in little over 2 weeks and this just sucks to hear this news this late in the pregnancy. I asked Shawna about it, but she wasnt telling me too much, so HOPEFULLY Im overreacting. HOPEFULLY the lil one just dropped lower than expected or something. Fuck at this point Im just hoping for the best.....:(

Its definately been an up and down day. I talked to the wife, shes acting fine. But I talked to her best freind (RN) and she says it can be serious and if the baby becomes less active, go to the Doc immediately....

I just now sawthis thread. I am sorry to hear things may not be looking so good at the moment. She is due in a matter of 2-3 weeks.......having the baby now (to prevent anything bad happeneing) wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. My only advice at this time, would be to make sure she delivers at a hospital with a well qualified (level 3) NICU in the hospital. The best thing for her is to have the trained NICU staff on hand.

I also have had a few scary moment with my boys and it will work out. Good that your cautious though. Never hurts to be aware and ready. My boys didn't grow much in the later weeks either but they were big enough. Almost 9lbs. And two of them were two weeks early due to c-sections. I will keep you in my prayers. Keep your head up and keep the little women calm. That's the best thing you can do right now. Getting her stressed and worried could cause problems.

You guys have no idea HOW COOL IT IS to be reading ALL the well wishes and prayers.

Shawna is fine, but we are still being cautious in concerns to the baby. She talked to her nurse and she said that as long as the baby is active, no problems and just come in to her next appointment. BUT if lil one gets less active, get to the hospital ASAP!!

So we are still on baby watch, will all the well wishes and prayers, Im hoping everything is gonna be fine.
We are due on March 7th, so hopefully Ill be posting up a picture like this one in a couple weeks.....
