Anyone get good deals on parts (Brake job)

I'm looking to do a full brake job on my truck.

95 Chevy Truck. K1500 4x4.
6.5 Turbo Diesel engine
6 lug wheels (which I believe have 10" rear drums)


I want front pads and rotors. I also want rear drums, shoes, and the hardware kit. If there are multiple options for any of them, let me know what they are and the pricing. I'm looking to buy asap.

I priced them out at Advance Auto. I'm looking at $253 for the "best" with Bendix pads (lifetime warrenty on wear), or $225 with the "2nd best" pads.

At AutoZone I'm looking at $192.

If anyone can get better pricing than that let me know, I'd much appreciate it!

Ceramic pads-about 40 bucks.
Front rotors-about 25 a piece.
rear 10" shoes-25 bucks
rear drums-39 a piece
rear hardware-11 bucks.

Total=206 plus tax.I rounded up on the prices.Regular pads are about 18 bucks.And you wanna make sure you have 10" rear drums.Does it have the HD chassis?

There was a choice between 10" drums and 11" drums, and also 6 lug and 8 lug. I assumed that the 6 lug corresponded with the 10" and the 8 lug corresponded with the 11" drums. I may be wrong. I should measure, because I thought I had the HD version. Its a 1500 but has the turbo diesel, and the HD auto trans (4L80E), and trans coolers and whatnot.

Do we still have a stangbangerz account (discount) at some advanced autos? I haven't tried to used it in a few months. AA was always the cheapest with the discount if I price shopped them.

I tried Advance for the Discount no go anymore in Harrison they said we didnt use it enough.

My advanced is still good.I use the hell outta it over by my house.But i have carquest here on the internet,i can even look at a pic of the part before i by it.I pay for it then have them deliver it to me.Its good stuff.
