does any one know the stock push rod length for a 93 GT? i installed some 1.7 roller rockers and with no shimes i still have .010 clearance. my current push rod length is 6.248 theses are stock heads and have never been removed.

I believe the stock length is 6.272 inches. I've probably got a bunch laying around if you need them..

Or you could just get some shims for the pedastal mount rockers. Craig (Cincy Speed) usually keeps them in stock.

i could be wrong and please correct me if i am. but if i am short .010 and i shim the roller rockers wouldnt i just be that much shorter.

Yes, you are correct, if you shim the pedestals then you would need an even longer pushrod. It sounds like a stock length pushrod would get you pretty close...

hey gearhead were are you located im in fairfield i would like to try and get some of thoughs push rod of of you. every set i find is within .001 of the set i have. i need atleast a 6.260 if you have some 6.272 then i could just use the shims that i have.

Your valvetrain shouldn't be affected by.010" differance. Have you tried putting it together and seeing how it runs.

yes i had these roller rockers installed last year. it has been very noisy since. i have added a few other boltons and it just has gotten worce, so i pulled the valve covers to check. when i pulled them i found that the place that installed them left .010. so i called crane and they told me that these roller rockers require 0 lash and they said that is my problem. i should not here them over my exhaust and radio for that matter.
