OK brothas and sisdas...

As you know our broder Carl (usafstang) is over in Durka-durkastan right now fighting the good fight and keeping us safe at home. He is risking his life to defend our freedom...working hard in the USAF!!!

I have a copy of "Dora the Explora" that he is requesting, so I gotta get it to him.

I figured I would put together a care package for him and his friends to enjoy.
From what he was telling me, they really dont get to leave the base much, so I guess they need stuff to do in their off time.

Carl loves gold star chili, so I'll probably toss in a few cans of that for him to enjoy. if you guys want to help out, I'll send your stuff together, or help me out with shipping. :bigthumb

And Steve...I really haven't seem many of my peeps using phone cards...but if you want to send some thats cool. I don't think the brand matters really, we can get a US dial tone here..so the whole international calling isn't an issue.

We used to be able to call on the US government line and call the closest base to where you are calling. Tell the operator that you are making a moral call to your home. They will dial your number and most times they would let you talk for 20 minutes or so. Can you at least Drink beer in Afganistan? In Saudi it was a very big no-no. Articale 15 and a ticket home.

She was on deployment there and did not respect the culture she was in. She was a very loud, abrasive African American chick BTW.

Apparently in the Saudi's culture, there are (2) separate windows for fast food/ice cream pick ups etc.. One for men the other for women.

She stood at the man's window and demanded to be served! :rolleyes:

I can see her there doing all that loud, finger waving BS! :rolleyes:

She also got her bare ankles whipped by an old Saudi man cause her berqua was too short.

The USAF got her ass out of there QUICK!

I picked up 4 cans of gold star today. Wally world has a whole pallat of them in the center aisle. 2.50 a can. I didn't make it up to cincy speed today and later, Kev called me and told me they never opened. I understand why. How can I get this stuff to the package before it gets mailed. It will take me a while to eat this much beef jerky.
