So who else is stuck at home today? I made it to the shop but I am not going out till later this afternoon. I hate this ice on top of snow stuff.

I made it in just fine...by only problem was the idiots doing 20 in the fast lane on the highway. If your scared to drive in the white death...then get the hell over to the slow lane.

I didn't go out of spite because my work is closing their doors. F'em. I'm not risking a wreck just to go to a job that doesn't want me there anymore.

Anyone hiring?

I went down Orphanage road with no problem. Getting the work truck out is not an option right now. The plows made a nice wall in front of the shop. No worries, don't have work till 5:00. Everything should be better by then.

Let's just say I can now qualify for the Drifting Championships...I spent more time sideways in the Danger Ranger than straight today on the way in.....Ice sucks! At least a lot of folks stayed home so there wasn't as much traffic as normal.

Drive home mat be intertesting too...we'll see.

I made it in, an hour and a half late. I woke up at 7am to ice hitting my bedroom window, so I said screw it, and stayed in bed for another hour.

I still made it in before every else did though. The Charger did excellent in the snow and ice, I was impressed. I didn't spin out, slide, or anything. All wheel drive rocks!

I got in about two hours late. The wonderful city of Cincinnati barely clears anything. Marburg was still covered in ice at 10:30, and my street hasn't been touched yet.

When I got up to Montgomery, the roads were fine.

I waited for daylight then got ready for work and headed south. The roads sucked but made it in. The snows I have were worth every penny.

I decided to take the day off. I was really hoping for a lot of snow so we could play with Parker in his first snow, but just a bunch of ice instead. I have to travel around in my job so I decided I wasn't going in and chance skating around all day. Now I'm just bored.

No ice up north, just snow. Had to work later today and once I got on the highway to go to work, they called and told me to stay home. Bummer missing out on unpaid 8 hours, but glad because Lena and I may go play in the snow later!!!

Oh Man I have you all beat, I left Evansville Indiana area last( Monday Night ) night around 5 pm in the snow storm. AT 5 PM the snow was already at about 4 to 5 inches, I then began the long slow 30 mph drive home . After the state police in Lousville told me 71 North aint gonna happen tonight due to jack knifed tractor trailors and ice etc... I may as well give it up.

So I checked into the Holiday inn Express at the Le Grange exit at 1 AM and then woke up at 7AM and drove home where I arrived at 11 AM ( Batavia)

On a side not it took about an Hour to breat the ice off the van just to get in it this morning. I love driving in this stuff ,however when your tired and just pist in general about a long wasted day the last thing you want to do is get on the freeway and drive 7mph...lol:lol:

PS I did my good deed for the month twice. I helped push two cars out of ditches this morning on I 71 near the Ky Speedway.:bigthumb

No problem for me today..... 4WD before I left the garage and just took it easy down the driveway. Roads were decent, but I just got in the right lane and went. :D

I was actually 5 minutes earlier than usual because no one was out on the roads. Gotta love a Jeep! :bigthumb

I drive to dayton from the east side of cincy, it was a pretty gnarly ride.

Saw 1 minor and 1 MAJOR accident happen right in front of me on 75n.

Overall, it was definitely an interesting ride in the morning.
