I may be purchasing a 95 Ford Lightning. I just wanted to get other peoples opinion. I always liked them, but would like to here what other Mustang people think about them. They are 4500lbs 245hp 360lbs of tq. Let me know....

I had a red 95 it was a great truck. Its like a mustang with a bed. Handles great . MPG was not that great but find a Gas truck that is. Not that I ever had my foot in it :) I towed my race car with it. The only thing I would not recomend is driving it in the snow.

I drove my 88gt in lots of snow with snow tires they are fine. My Lightning was tough to stop in the snow and ice. The wide tires the front would lock up and the rear anti lock would pulse. You were just along for the ride

I am not nearly as hardcore you are.

Snow tires make the difference. I am a believer after putting them on my SRT4.

I had a black 94 about 3 years ago. Comfortable to drive. Wish I still had it.

the older ones are awesome. If I was aloud I would pick one up in a heart beat. Dual tanks is where its at.

The biggest downfall I found was taking trips to the track with 3 people is not that comforable. I sold mine and bought and Excursion. Much better room

I have a 95 and I love it. It handles great for a big truck has dual tanks and is halfway fast. My truck has been a 15.10 stock but the gas mileage is not very good 12/15

Thanks for everyones opinion. I just picked up a 95 Lightning w/ 75mm throttle body, Powerdyne supercharger, BBK headers. It needs a little work but runs well.

I just got rid of my 93 lightning last spring and should have kept it.It had 64,000 miles on it when I got it in 2000 and had 156,000 when I traded it.Ran great towed open trailer with mustang on it for many many miles.even hauled my buddys mustang to oklahoma city when he moved there.Never had any major problems with it at all.Just like gas and no room for passengers and not real comfortable on long racing trips.
