Sorry, but the Pinks airing will be on the night I last saw my dad at the hospital, he passed on 2/21/96.

I'll be cheering, I'll be bawling my eyes out as well, I'll be saying thanks by raising a toast. I've set up a TV in Dads garage, I'll be out there in good spirits. Just saying thanks to those nuts before us :)

Most of you know Vince as "Vinny", a great friend and jokester. I wish you could have known him as I do, a loving son who when his Dad died, offered to leave everything in Cincy to move home and help me. He was a son any mother could be proud of. I know Holly and Dee miss him, even Lean talks about Uncle Vince, how he's in heaven now. I was one of the lucky ones, I had Vince for almost 38 years, I just wish I could have him back. Vince I love you.

I've been thinking about this coming up all week. I know how much Holly and his family must be hurting. I am praying for all of you. I do miss him, it was so sad to lose him. But we still have each other to talk about all the memories, and there are some good ones! I'm just grateful to have had the chance to be friends with him, even for a little while.

I just can't believe it's been a year. I find myself thinking about Vinny a lot recently and it just seems so unreal to me that he is gone. He always stuck me as one of those guys that seemed invincible and would be with us forever. I still have the card with his picture on it that we received at the visitation, sitting by my door at the house - right where I sat it when we got back from the funeral home. I just can't bear to move it. I know he is watching us right now from a better place but it sure is tough to not have him around. Miss ya bud! :(

The guy was the most genuine guy I have ever known on the fifth he called me and told me that if I needed anything at all to let him and Holly know (my wife had the tumors removed on the 7th) and when she came out of recovery I called my family and everyone real immediate but the first bud I wanted to let know she was alright was Vin and I callled his mobile no answer so I called the Cracka at the speed shop and Jason answered I asked him if he had seen Vinny yet that day and that is how I found out , a guy that always put himself on the back burner for everyone else was gone and It just does not feel the same :rolleyes: I was not a best friend but I knew him pretty well wether it was turbo talk or just drinkin a cool one when I saw him he was one of the best and I will never forget Him .....

I can't believe it's been a year too. He definately made a difference in the GC area not only to the local mustang crowd but with the local f-body crowd too. He had a big heart, enough to show his passion to all of us in the car scene and still have plenty of room for his closest family and friends. Holly, family and friends, may you remember the good times with a light heart and may you continue on with the love he had for you deep down in your soul.

Definitely was the coolest guy ever... Sucks I didnt get to know him as well as everyone else... at the meets he was always in the middle of a large crowd talking racing when I was around... and at the time I didnt know hardly anyone so I never butted in, I wish that I did.

However I did get to talk to him a few times. I will cherish that.

Awesome guy, wish I'd known him as long as some of you other peeps on the site. My baby girl got to meet him for the first, and last time at cavalcade. He gave her some sbz stickers for her powerwheels mustang she'd just got for her b-day. He made my 3 yo's week. She always called her stickers," my binny stickers"...lol. This is what I thought about as soon as I got up this morning. I knew it was the 7th. My mom's b-day is tomorrow.......so this day will be engrained in my brain forever. He was so great. I miss seeing his smiling face and his multi-colored goatee. I cannot possibly imagine the pain that Holly has been through this past year, and the pain she will relive every Feb. 7th. Amanda, I am sure, has the best memories of her father to think about. He would've done anything for her. And his best friend, Craig, I know this is a sad day for you as well. He is here, with all of you, in everything you do and everyday you go on living.

Awesome dude, hung out at some nmra events, sbz events and always thought he was one of the coolest people I had ever met. Anytime anyone asks about a shirt or decals on my car, i always tell them about sbz and vinny!! Great guy, missed by us all!
