I have a 3.3 on my S trim. What you got to trade on?

I have a 3" on my blower..... I don't know where the motor is going to make power but we are figuring 7,000 to 8,000, so I need to slow the blower down to keep from overspinning it.

We can swap out pullies. Wonder how the belt will fit? That pully will spin mine about 5000 rpm faster

Well check and see. If so we can swap em out. Is your pully 3.00? I didnt see one list on Vortechs site.

Yes, they are the same shaft, same step up ratio also( if figuring impeller speed ). If you still need to slow the blower down, you can always step down to a 6-7/8" crank pulley. You may want to play around with the impeller speed calculator on vortech's website.

I have played around, and what I was thinking, instead of going with a smaller crank, go with the larger blower pulley. My logic is it will be a larger surface/contact area and you should see less belt slippage..:)

Absolutely, I was just offering another alternative, I wasn't sure how much you were trying to slow it down.

We will have to trade notes this year, I have a 331/ysi combo I'll be sorting out through out the year.
