Cavacade of Customs Convoy Sat Mar 15th

We have a multiple mustang convoy traveling downtown to the Cavalcade of Customs on Saturday March 15th if anyone is interested in going we are meeting at Tylersville Rd at the Lowes parking lot at 5pm. It is a straight shot onto the highway from there and we are going to have a few cameras. All are welcome.

Yes we are just going down to watch the event for a little while, our cars are not a part of it.

I am not sure of the parking situation but I would assume we will have to pay a small parking fee.

I usually park under the square and walk their.I would like to park wherever ever one else is to avoid the (who the hell hit my car!!) situation.I know that i wont open my door into your's and you wont swing yours into mine.So i think we should pick a garage and all go there to park.

Yeah i am not sure who is gonna be in the show, but I know a few tricks for parking mass people we might just have to walk a little farther which is all good cause its in march now! I have a buddy thats real good at navigating downtown so he will be leading probably...

Also they offer discounted tickets from KOI autoparts for those interested.

Man it's too bad, my boss at my last job is actually one of the guys who puts on the Cavalcade. His grandfather started the whole thing in his basement. He could've got me in free but i quit on him, i doubt he'd hook me up now :lol:

Ok, I have a few tricks up my sleeve I think for a big crew of cars to park near one another, like I said before we may have to do extra walking which is fine by me, hopefully its decent temperatures. Bring your walkie talkies if you have them, we will have a few.

This is the only day we are planning to go down, we want one big cruise. Looking to get a few sweet clips of some nice cars and mustangs while cruising, maybe a quick burnout clip or two, and of course check out the cars inside the show.




FYI: This Cruise downtown will not be a Cannonball Run! Now the trip home, I can't say that about ;)

Last year $10 to get in and $10 Special Event Parking.
If you don't mind walking, you can park for a lot less.

i thought that the turnout at lowes was good considering the weather, i wish it wouldnt have been raining bc then i could have maybe met a few people. the drive down kinda sucked bc you couldnt see two car lengths in front of you but when we pulled out onto tylersville and we were turning them over it was sweet. it was also cool when we were heading to the parking garage bc of the way that the cars echoed. it was a good time and the show was good. idk if it was $13 good but it was good. i liked seeing of the stangs down there. hope everyone had a good time i know i did
