My daughter's birthday was on the 15th. She is 12. Today is her sleep over party for her friends. Only 5 of them made it. Have any idea how loud 6 12 year olds can be? I need a beer but I can't till they all go to bed. Who knows when one of them will want to go home or something. They are all out back in the hot tub right now. I am in for a long night. I can tell already.

That's a good idea Dave. I could get out my shooting ear muffs. That would help.

Oh man......it's a full night of "she is such a ho. did you see what she wore to school yesterday?" and "Johnny is so hot, do you think he'd go out with me?" and "who can we text all night?" and "my parents are so dumb, they have not idea that we invited boys over after they went to sleep!"

Sorry, I had lots of sleep overs as a kid, and my 11 year old just had one a few months ago.........her friends are so boy crazy I wouldn't let them come over again! Scary age!!!!!

They just got out of the hot tub. My wife fixed hot chocolate for them,we told them it is ready, and here it sits on the kitchen counter getting cold.
Dave, I already smelled smoke. While stirring the hot choco, I must have bumped a burner. Now my wife's favorite measuring cup is about half as tall and a big hole melted in the bottom. Melted plastic stinks.
Time to put in a movie and calm them down. I still need a beer!!!

OK...Just got the cover back on the hot tub. Those girls splashed water all over the place and it all froze solid. The cover felt like a block of ice. Sounded like it too when it slid off the tub and hit the frozen concrete.
The girls are downstairs watching a movie, Signs, and hopefully they don't scream too loud.
Also, just opened my first beer. MMMmmmmmmm

They are still awake. I hear them laughing downstairs right now. I think I am gonna go to bed and hopefully they won't trash the house any more than they have done already.
Good night all.

Hehehe, that is so funny! I used to love sleepovers, but I wasn't really a squeally kind of girl, but some of my friends were. I can only imagine how much noise we made though, we used to play so many silly games. Hopefully they quiet down soon enough for you. These are the memories you'll appreciate when she's older though...you can always use them for blackmail at weddings and such. LOL

Try driving around 25 of them in a limo party bus..They were all 15 and 16....Good lord I thought they were going to destroy the car.I was driving down the highway and that damn Souljaboy song came on..Every single one of them got up and started dancing..I thought I was going to end up in a ditch..That poor bus was going from lane to lane...

The house is still here, all the parents were like 10-30 minutes late picking them up, the ice is still all over the patio, and they had fun. I don't think I want to do this again but you know how kids are. Those eyes get me every time.

There is always the farm party in the spring. The barn sleeps a dozen or so and if you want to tent it, there is 120 acres. Beware my .45 alarm clock. Hee Hee

chug chug, what beer?

Hey Keith, I might be bringing a new "toy" back from Michigan to play with.

125 yards would be awful close for something thats good for 10-25x that range.

I ain't buying the ammo for that. You need to bring your own for that.

I might "borrow" a spare engine block for "testing"

Any trees in the shooting lane need removed?

tannerite + .50 BMG = job well done :)

I feel for you brother. I have a 13 year old nephew that lives with me. Him and two of his friends can make a shit load of noise and eat me out of house and home. I can't imagine six girls. I am sure the noise level is worse and much higher pitched.
