I've been hit up TWICE here in the Cincinnati area. They tell you they have an extra unaccounted for surround sound system they will sell you for cheap. I didn't know it was a nationwide scam when I was approached. I just assumed they were selling stolen goods. If they approach you, either tell them to piss off, or see how long you can string THEM along before they get frustrated!

I had a dude try to sell me some huge home stereo speakers in Fairborn a few years back. He said they were $2,000 Retail, but he could sell them to me for $700. :rolleyes:

I worked a gas station many years ago, and these type folks would stop in frequently. Selling everything from watches to STEAKS! :rolleyes:

Yeah...I was approached by a "van" almost 10 years ago......I asked them to hookup one of their speakers to my 450 watt Earthquake amp pushing a set of Kicker Comp 12" subs......they declined and I left. :dunno: :D

I could give a crap how much faster you car is than mine. How much dedication you put into it. I'm sure it's a very nice car. Guy was just letting people know that you shouldn't buy speakers out of a van. For most people that's common sense. No reason to be an ass to him for it. Leave that crap at CSS.
