I used to own a 2.3T swapped ranger about 5 years ago. Its a torqey 4 banger. I put down 300 whp and 350 wheel torque.

I had an SVO with a few mods, and the boost controler. It was real fun. I really regret getting rid of it. I needed a gas mileage car, and I don't have the self control to stay out of the boost.

Well, i'd tell you the same thing over again but that'd be silly
As Tim put it, it's all in self control and staying out of the boost. I can get 25mpg in my Merkur if i drive it reasonably but once you mash the gas and those 35lb injectors start spraying, the mpg drops fast.

i have had about 20 in the last 7 years what ya need to know...i also have plenty of extra parts for all the 2.3 turbo cars if ya need em
I have a 93 coupe with an 88 TC engine. It's fun...good on gas(if you stay outta the boost) and cheap on insurance. You have to do a little work to get power out of them, but I am gonna find out what I can do with mine after I get back from deployment.

One here too.
Best thing, is no matter what its a sleeper. I could say mine puts down 250 horse and people would think I am exagerating.
Next would be that its different. I have had alot of Mustangs. 351's , 331's , 347, twin turbo's, blower cars, nitrous cars. Whatever. Name it and I am sure I have had something close.
Third would be that its not a car just anyone can build and make fast. You cant just flip open a book and build a fast car with a credit card. But if you know what your doing, it is CHEAP.
