can anyone help me identify what this 302 cam out of and what year?this is the casting # either 0 or d 8ve-6015-a3a. other #'s are 7g13 and 78 further down on the block!if ya can help me what year make model??whatever info u can find!thanks.

Well from I can tell from this site it is from a 1978 Lincoln

d8 would mean 78

c= 60's
d=70's
e=80's
f=90's

thanks.what was the last year for the thicker castings on these?wasnt it 78!or was that just the truck blocks?

Don't remember any thicker castings other than increased webbing on the Boss and Mexican blocks.

Never really heard much about better casting 302 blocks, asside from the ones cast in Mehico. On a 351 Windsor the desirable castings are 69-74. The castings were thinned considerably starting in 75.

Also, does anyone happen to have a "cheap" rotating assembly? I would really like to put this together as checp as possible.
