I was going to do a five lug conversion using Ranger axles on a 89' 8.8". But I have a chance to get some 94' Cobra axles right now. If I do this will the rear be 3/4" wider on each side? And also would I need to buy all the Cobra brake stuff? If I use the Ranger axles I can use all my existing brakes and keep the stock width right? Thanks guys!

At 445 hp, If I was going to change axles, I would buy some moser's, and beef up the trac loc.

I second that, when I was rushing to get my car done, I just bought a set of superior axles to get it back on the ground, but the rear end is next on my agenda.

I'm sorry guys, I missed some key information. I have a 92' coupe that will be making pretty moderate horsepower. That is what this rearend is for. It has 99' GT front spindles already in front.

Ranger axles work fine. Just need the 5 lug drums.

Call Craig for some Moser's and get a set of ranger drums.
