Hey guys I have a question. I have an 04 cobra, it puts down 505hp at the tires and in the future it may reach 650hp. I am getting ready to buy a clutch and I am wondering if there is a certain one that you would recommend? Also, what the price of it would be? Thanks!

Save yourself the headache and just buy a McLeod. Their expensive but worth the money.

How often will it see the track, will you be on slicks, how much do you drive it. I had a spec 3 that held up great on street, strip with 600rwhp and et streets. Craig at cincy speed had it in stock.

I will be going to the track 5 to 8 times a year and I drive it on the street very often. I have nitto street slicks right now and may put et streets on in the future. I am curious to how hard on the leg the spec 3 is? Thanks again!

I can't speak for the mcloed, I've never owned one, the spec is stiffer than a centerforce ( but everything is) but I never had any complaints.

Spec 3+ is what I'd try.....I've heard a lot of good things.
I'm running a RPS Stage 3.....not too much of a fan.... :dunno:

I have a spec stage 3 + and no complaints here. Easy on the leg on the street and great performance at the track.

I'd go with the spec stage 3+. I also have heard nothing but good things about it. When I upgrade my tranny to the 26 spline input shaft im going to get the stage 3+ myself. Just my $.02.

To sum it up from the internet: "Spec 3+ is for heavily modified street and race engines making more torque than the stage 3 can support. Offers good daily driveability and better manageability than the stage 3, with even better wear characteristics."
Stage 1 - 420 ft lbs tq capacity
Stage 2 - 530 ft lbs tq capacity
Stage 2+ - 635 ft lbs tq capacity
Stage 3 - 695 ft lbs tq capacity
Stage 3+ - 800 ft lbs tq capacity
Stage 4 - 695 ft lbs tq capacity
Stage 5 - 1150 ft lbs tq capacity
