The Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot is on the 11th 12th and 13th of april this spring. I am planning on going down Saturday the 12th. Good deals on ammo, LOTS of stuff to drool over, and an impressive night shoot. You will understand why I love tannerite. Also I plan to rent something belt fed. It is the closest place that I can actually hold and fire a fully automatic firearm without the 10,15,20, or 75,000 dollar investment.

I have returned from the farm. Once you get off the express way, turn left and go almost exactly 8 miles. The road t bones. Turn left and go almost 1.7 miles and turn right.
I stopped looking at the odometer at that point. I counted 29 deer on my way in and out from the farm. Lots of the buggers out. 2 were on the shooting range when I dropped off the dishwasher. LOL. I almost grabbed my ar.
My plan for the farm party is to blow up the dish washer. I un installed it from my mother in law's house, then installed it in my house only to find out that it leaked so off to Lowe's I went and dropped 350 for a new one which I installed at my house. This one is gonna see some hurting.

I was just given some 35mm film canisters and pill bottles. Filled with flour they make great targets at 50-100 yards.

I cleaned out my house today of a bunch of useless stuff. I made a run to the farm to burn some wood I didn't need and dropped off a few targets. 3 computer moniters and 2 CPUs. The moniters are the large tv size ones so they should react to bullits well.
The deer were out in force tonight. I stopped counting at 40 and the 3 at a time running out in front of me on the way home 2 times nearly gave me a stroke. I can't wait for this one.

Got a new toy today. When I get to the shop I will post a pic. Another 9mm pistol. This one is Stainless, 2-15 round mags, and a shoulder holster that also holds 2 mags. Pretty cool. It may be a temporary toy, the guy was a little down on his luck but when he gets back on his feet, i agreed to sell it back to him same price.

I looked for .308 ammo today and all the gun stores near me are out. They don't see getting any anytime soon either. So I delinked 200 or so rounds I had. If any of you came down to my shop and saw the belt of ammo hanging on my locker, that is what I delinked. It was a 200 round belt for an M-60 machine gun. 4 ball and 1 tracer. I got it at knob creek a few years ago for 30 bucks.
So the loud rifle has ammo.

IT IS ALWAYS LOADED, TREAT IS AS SUCH!!!!!! Even if you know it is empty, always check the chamber. When not shooting leave the cylinder open, or the slide locked back.

Oh yeah, never walk down range to check targets without making sure everyone has benched their guns.......also when someone is downrange NO handling of firearms!!!!!!

Lastly, ear muffs or ear plugs are a must!!!!!!!!!!

Turn Left on 127. Follow to the end. 8 miles.

Turn Left on 3215 at the New Liberty Miniature Horse farm. 2.7 miles.
Turn Right on Big Twin Creek Rd. It is at the bottom of the hill. 2.6 miles.

Just before you get to the farm you will see a row of trees that have grown over the road. It sort of looks like a tunnel. After you pass through look to the left. The large barn is it.

Thanks Tim. You can put a few through my AR and my AK. I reload 9mm so I have a few ready to go. My Dad reloads .45 so I have a few of that also. I have some .22s as well. I should make a list of calibers that will be there. That way people can pick up a box if they want.

It was such a beautiful day today, My 5 year old, my 10 year old and I took a little run down to the farm. It was a nice ride down, the grass had been bush hogged, and the barn was cool. My 5 year old, Erik shot his first rifle today. It was a youth model chipmonk .22 rifle. He loved it and can't wait to do it again.
I have to get down there one day next week and cut some grass shorter around the fire pit and the start of the shooting range. The apartment inside the barn needs a little work too.

I will probably get to my shop around 11:00 or so. Then I have to load all the stuff into my truck, ice the food and beverages...... remember to grab the camera, targets, etc etc... I will probably leave my shop after noon. It takes about an hour to get there.
The general plan is to shoot all day, then lock up the guns and drink all night. There are beds and sofas in the apartment inside the barn and plenty of room for tents or what ever.

The grass is cut around the fire pit and around the barn and shooting lane but the larger fields are untouched so if you want to go wandering, be prepared for jungle like conditions.LOL

Had an AWESOME time! Really enjoyed blowing the giant hole in the trunk lid with the tannerite charge... that was cool shit! and the ride in the truck bed was fun! I was enjoying myself until my allergies kicked my ass :mad:

I think Josh and I hit the road sometime after 12, I laid the seat back in the beemer and went to sleep, then crashed in a spare room when I got to eastgate, woke up at noon, came home took some meds and a shower... Now I feel a LOT better!

We had a blast as well. It was my first time shooting a gun too. As if you all couldn't tell. The rides in the jeep and the truck were GREAT. When we got home today about noon I went straight to bed and have been there just about all day. Feeling a little rough but it was well worth it. Oh and by the way, My arm, hip, and both knees are scraped up from taking that spill over that log.:lol::lol: Holly you missed that one. Thanks a lot Keith for everything. Keith, make sure to oil the guns done, my 10/22 got alot of suface rust on the barrel, when the went down must have trapped moisture in the hard case/foam :(

I think I went thru about 1000 rounds total :)

Went to Shooter's today and sighted in my AR-15. I took the scope off the .308 and put it on the .223. The range is only 25 yards but it is accurate now. Hitting the tannerite should be a piece of cake now.
