Free Roadrunner Turbo/Premium Upgrade!

Just heard of an offer from Time Warner to upgrade to RR Turbo (or Premium) on another message board. Thought I'd pass it along.

I just called and the offer I got was this. Since I'm a RR customer already and do NOT want digital phone.....It's FREE for the 1st (3) months and an additional $5/month thereafter. Folks that want Digital phone service get the Free upgrade to Turbo/Premium for 1 year.

I went from around 6 MBPS download to 10 MBPS.

2 tips that I have employed in the past-

1. Bitch enough about a real verifiable problem, and they will opt to upgrade you to their higher speed service (among other options). You will get it for the promotional period.

2. Right before the promo period is up, call to cancel and 9 times out of 10 they will put it through for the year at the standard 29.99 price.

Its definitely worth the 5 bucks after its free too. Ive had it for a while now and its pretty damn fast.

I just dumped my crappy dsl from Cincy Bell for Insight Cable. It's all thats available in Northern Ky.
