Oil psi gauge install??????

My brother wants a auto meter oil pres' gauge for his 01 gt.Any one know what i need or which gauge kit to get for him.Is it an electric one with its own sender or do i need fitting for a mechanical???Some one let me know so i can order it.

Usually the kit comes with an adapter. I think its 1/8". There should be a plug under the stock sending unit block that you can take out and attach it there. Or take out the factory sending unit and put the new unit/line there. A mechanical will give a better reading and copper line would be better to run. Let likely to leak and stronger. I put mechanicals in all my cars every chance I get.
