Yep, we're getting it pretty good out our way! I just woke up and opened the blinds and was surprised to see so much snow already! I love it, my day is going to consist of cleaning and making Christmas cookies, and watching it snow! Somebody from the Village of New Richmond will be down eventually to salt my driveway I'm sure (my brother Jeff and one of my best friends, Hoss, works there). ;) Cars are safely tucked in the garage.

Glad I have NOWHERE to go today! The snow is pretty, but ice is dangerous - it doesn't matter what kind of car you drive.

Yep, about 8:40 i let our Rott out to do his business and he usually stays out for about 20 minutes. I heard him scratching on the door after about 15 mins so I went to let him in and he was up against the house on the step looking miserable. He was covered with snow. When I let him out it was not even snowing at all and when I let him in the ground was covered. it hit fast. I wish it was not going to change to rain. If that was the case we would end up with about 18 to 20 inches of snow. It is changing to rain or sleet right now.

Actually now the Weather Channel says it'll stay above freezing all day and all night until tomorrow morning, when it'll drop to 28-29 and start snowing again and snow pretty much all day Sunday.

Yeh, thats what I've heard. So it will wash all of this snow away and just start over. I still wish it would be all snow.

I did't think the snow tubing opened until the 22nd? I am all for it, if you get 15 or more people you get a group discount.

I went to bed about 6am, nothing......woke up at 11am just to see how wrong the weatherman was.......damnit he got it right for once!

80 miles in the city today shall be fun today, if I can get out of the neighbirhood!

The tubing area isn't open yet. They just don't have enough snow. It should be open after the first part of this weekend. Generally they need temps at or below 28 with low humidity and light wind to make snow. For tubing they probably push the limits a little more since its more about quantity than it is quality.

And its been snowing here since about 9:00 and we have a little bit of sleet mixed in over the last hour or so.

We were out pretty much all day shopping. I can't believe it rained all damn day. If it was cold enough for snow we would really be in for it. Tomorrow is gonna be interesting when it freezes and starts snowing again.
