View Full Version : Project Modular Fox RS 2008
Getting ready to start on the new race car. It's a 93 4 cylinder coupe. It will be getting a Bischoff 2v with some sauce to top it off.
This is a partnership between me and Farmer Steve. His car / my drivetrain.
Here's how it sits today:

Should be an interesting 10 weeks!
BTW, I'll be stripping just about everything off this car. If you need something let me know or it's going in the garbage.
I would also like to thank the sponsors who are already on board for this project!

Man I can't wait to watch some races next year. Its so much more fun watching people you know race and from the looks of it there are going to be at least 3 locals running RS.

In a nut shell...no 4 valve heads, no positive displacement blowers, only certain approved centrifugal superchargers or a single jet nitrous set up that is limited to I believe a .92 jet this year. Only an over bore is allowed...no strokers and the bore size is limited. For push rod engines there is a list of approved heads that much be as cast with only multi-angle valve jobs allowed. You can use ported factory heads. For mod motor guys you can run any factory 2 valve heads or the FRPP heads. I think any of those can be ported. There is a list of approved intake manifolds for both engines as well which have to be left as cast. Basically the cams must be of factory spec but there is a little variation allowed in one of the specs I just don't remember what it was. The idea of the class is a simple power adder street car class.
