There are only 3 houses in my immediate area out here in Claryville. Just found out that the neighbor down in front died. In the past 7 years in each house the husband has died. 2000 the lady next door lost her husband suddenly, 2005 mine died of cancer, now the neighbor, not sure yet from what. 3 houses, 3 widows. Weird! I think our little triangle needs an exorcism. I guess we should call our area Widowville....

That is strange, when the women start dying, I think I'd pack my stuff and boogie.

sounds more like Witchville or Salems Lot.

Hey. Don't take that too lightly.
I'd call the local priest and talk to him about it.

Or at the least, do some in depth research about the area.

Hell no. 1st neighbor was 45, hubby 47. I was 46 (29 if you ask my daughter!), hubby was 52. This last one was 54, not sure how old the widow is. Too young for all of us.

Yeah, me too guy. More than you know, especially at the holidays. Thank goodness Alisa's parents had moved away and it wasn't Bob to go.

You probably didn't know Eddies father in law Blain Baker, hell of a mechanic and great guy, Pattys' dad. Lived there too.
Then there was her brother Grover, although he was electricuted while at work, grew up at the same house...........
The car wreck in the culvert..........
Oh sh!t, I better stop this "thinking too much" stuff!

Greg, thinking is OK, just cheer the good times with good people.

Working in Dads garage, who passed away almost 12 years ago, I'll just stop and smile. Mom will be doing something and ask "whats so funny?".....she just doesn't understand.

I feel so lucky that both of my parents are alive and well and enjoying their retirement. I will see them this christmas and will hug them both.

Keith it looks like last night you must have been in the " I LOVE YOU MAN " stage. Just messing with you. My parents are both still here too. I am very thankful.

Yea, know what you mean Bone. Funny how those little comments and shared events stick with us, playing back from our memory at random like that. Dads as role models gave us guidance by example, some of which we didn't understand till quite later.
