Robert Craig "Evel Knievel Jr, passed away today after suffering a long battle with Hepetitis C, contracted from a transfusion after one of his many injuries at age sixty nine.
As Americas premier daredevil, he was one of a kind.
He's with Vinny now, recanting stories of their adventures.
I'd like to think we all have a bit of daredevil in us as Stangbangerz, the same as he did.

Damn, sucks that he's gone, I remember watching his stunts as a kid. The kicker to that, is that he had to go that way. I'm sure he'd have rather gone out in a blaze of glory!

There was a re-issue of the stunt cycle several years ago, and the E.K. action figure from one of these sets has had a permanent place on my computer desk for the past couple of years. Every once in a while I bring out the ramp and have the kids line up some toys. I want my kids to know who he was as they grow up. Thanks for the memories, Evel!

Remember him trying to jump the Grand Canyon? My buddy and I, were so pumped after that we decided tie rap road flares to the back of our bikes and try to jump a small creek/stream... I got soaked ,and he got burned....lol Great times.. RIP Evil ,you ruled !!!
