Looks like it ran a 6.28 in the 1/8th according to his sig. Thats equates to roughly a high 9.90 in the 1/4.:bigthumb Nice Car.

Thanks for all the compliments fellas. Its still a work in progress as you can see. I'll probably have it painted in the early spring but paint dont make it no faster just an eye sore too look at. No 1/4 times as of yet car is geared just for 1/8th mile currently. I stroll through this site alot but havent posted till now. I like this site, lots of good info with most of all good people that are willing to lend a hand. :bigthumb

If you multiply the 1/8th time by 1.58 that'll get you in the ballpark.

I think the number is more like 1.56. IMO

In my experience the number varies between 1.56 and 1.58. It really depends on how efficient your car is through the front half and how the car is geared. Most good running N/A cars are overgeared a bit and don't tend to accelerate as hard on the big end.

Formulas for Calculating Performance
Convert between 1/4 mile and 1/8 mile ET's
1/4 mile ET = 1/8 mile ET x 1.5832
1/8 mile ET = 1/4 mile ET / 1.5832
Calculate 1/4 mile ET and MPH from HP and Weight
ET = ((Weight / HP)^.333) * 5.825
MPH = ((HP / Weight)^.333) * 234
Calculate HP From ET and Weight
HP = (Weight / ((ET/5.825)^3))
Calculate HP From MPH and Weight
HP = (((MPH / 234)^3) * Weight)
Those are the ones i found on hardcore 5.0. Should get you around the ballpark like you said. Still have alot of tuning to do on the front suspension and also on the motor itself. Dont see no reason why the car wont go low 6's or high 5's is what im shootin for. Car is geared pretty low like you mentioned could probably step it down a little bit but i've only got bout 15 passes on this setup so far. Thanks for the compliments guys
