tranny inspection plate [Archive]

apparently the plate for an auto and a 5 speed that goes between the block and bell housing is not the same for a 5 speed and auto...am i correct?? everything lines up but the starter holes....i am converting from auto to manual and would like to have the corect plate can anyone help or advise....thanks

Yes, you are correct the block plates are different between an auto and 5 speed. I'm sure someone on the board has a 5 speed plate laying around...
