Holy Crap This little device is amazing.
No more juggling remotes!!!!
It's awesome you can set profiles so no juggling remotes or component settings on the remote.
For Instance for me to watch TV I have to turn the TV on, turn my receiver on and turn my cable box on.
With this little bugger I push Watch TV. It turns on the TV to the correct input, Receiver onto the right input, and cable box. But not only that I setup the profile so when I want to change channels it changes it on the cable box, i want volume it changes the volume on the receiver. No more choosing a component on the top of the remote.

You can have tons of profiles!!!

Not only that I customized it to function my Mac computer!! And if you have RF units controlling the lights in your house. Guess what they are controlled by this too.

Best $90 I have spent on my home theater hands down!!!!

I keep meaning to pick one up. TV, Receiver, HD-DVD, Cable Box, DVD Recorder, etc. - there are a lot of remotes on my coffee table. I wanted to pick up this one: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/remotes/universal_remotes/devices/373&cl=us,en but I just can't justify $500 for a remote! :lol:

I have the Harmony 880, and from what I've read, the 1000 doesn't do much more, it's just giant and has a touchscreen.

Already ordered it! I was hoping Best Buy would price match but no such luck. Ohh well I have till December 16 to return the 550 to Best Buy. So I will just use it until the new one arrives!!

That's funny Kevin. I have to admit getting one of these cool remotes would be neat, however I would miss the looking for the remotes ( all 4 of them) when the kids let them fall into the couch and everywhere else they seem to end up..

My buddy has one it is sweeeeeeet and it word\ks for the 360. I like how the signal can bounce of walls so you actually dont have to have it pointing straight at the device or devices. Great buy or gift
