The Re-Coming of R825OH

Well as many of you know , my baby is crunched. But at the same time it gives me a reason to go through and redo some stuff that I wasn't real satisfied with. I am just going to use my Cardomain site to document and keep everybody informed. I will post up of course as progress is made . So here it is.... http://www.cardomain.com/id/R825OH

yeah...with tires lol...a older guy was selling them..i traded and got a set of ponys...i got what i wanted! :D

Thats what really sux is that it was a real good car to start with. But taking the front end off, I found no rust which is a big plus. Gonna put the wheels from wildstang89 on it tomorrow and start pullin the radiator and ignition box out. I'll get some more pics up soon of the front end off showing the extent of the damage to the frame rails.

Well got all the front end offthe car. It is definitely bent ! the driver side seems to have taken most of the impact. Its shoved over a good 6 inches if not more. Next stop.. frame shop!

Got some real good news today.. they were able to straighten out the factory core suuport:D ...and she's ready to come back to the house. Now its time to get busy with it! I can't decide if I wanna paint the whole car or not, I really wannt to be able to drive it without worrying about new nicks and shit. Maybe gonna just blend the front in for now....

Think theres a good chance thats what happens, probably wet sand the rest of the car and give it all another coat of clear.

Well I finally got motivated tonight, And therefore I went ahead and pulled a couple things off the inner fenders. Got to work on sanding a little bit before dark. Slowly, slowly...

Big progress over the weekend,to me anyhoo. Got the outer structure por15'd and put most of the engne compartment back together. Waitin for my fan shroud to come in so I can put the radiator back in it too. looks pretty good I guess. I just wanna drive it before gas is 10 bux a gallon

More progress got all the skeleton back together (piece under the nose) . Stripped the hood yesterday,took the old wing off got the new 3piece wing cleaned up ,I think its time to paint!

Monday the 14th it goes to the paint shop:D, Hopefully I will have it back a week or so after that. We are just going to blend the front in. I'm goingto put the correct wing back on it too.I have a set of rear window louvers for it also, I hope they don't rattle too much:lol:

Really does,car drives straight and feels full of power.:D It has a little charging problem though, I think thier may be a new altenator in my future.
