Wish Vinny's sister luck and say a prayer, she will be undergoing a heart cath on November 20th. She had a stress test and ultrasound that showed an abnomality, so her cardiologist scheduled the heart cath. How I wish they had done this for Vince.

THANK GOD she went to the doctor and had herself checked out.

Vinny was going to have a stress test, we had been to the ER two weeks prior to his passing for chest pains, they sent him home with a diagnosis of "indigestion" and a prescription for Pepcid. :rolleyes: They told him to get with his family doctor and have a stress test done, but with the Cavalcade and everything happening, he just didn't get the time to do it. I could kick myself in the butt for not nagging him and making the appointment myself. I know he would have, eventually.

You can't beat yourself up over "what ifs" though. Everything happens for a reason.

I'll be praying hard for my sister-in-law. I love you Dee!

I just talked to Janet (Vinny and Deanne's mom), Deanne had to have a stint put in, she had 85% blockage. :( She will be out of the hospital tomorrow.

Thank you to everybody for the thoughts and prayers! As my husband said, "things happen for a reason" and if my brother didn't pass away, I would've never had a reason to see a cardiologist. It was a scary thought when the doctor found the blockage and he surprised himself as well. As I laid on the table waiting for things to go on, much of my thoughts were of my two kids...especially my little Anthony. I am sooo thankful for the steps that brought me to the hospital. I know I will be monitored frequently and will hopefully live long, full days and years with my family. As our Turkey day came and went this year, I thought I would have more sadness upon me. But this year, I had a warm, happy sense...I know dad and vince were with us and definitely with me on Monday. I hope everyone had a pleasant holiday and let the shopping begin!!!!!
