Piss on trees. I hate raking leaves as well...I think I am the only one on my street that has leaves falling off the trees..I have a tree that I am going to cut down in the next week or so. It produces these damn brown things that look like giant pea pods...

Beautiful looking tree! That thing's huge! What is it? I had two HUGE maples on my small house lot when I moved it and had to have them both removed because the roots I noticed, were starting to press against the foundation. Those were my only trees - now I just have to deal with all my neighbors leaves! :AR15: I keep contemplating putting something small in the front yard, like a cherry blossom or something similar. :dunno:

Damn that must have cost a fortune. We put in 12 trees this summer/fall. Nothing that big but it still cost a lot.

Try pine needles.
I think I'll wait for spring to rake them, it doesn't do me any good, they fall all winter long. I need to get my brother or somebody down, the gutters are stuffed full of them (noticed that when it was raining last week).
By the way, nice tree (and house)! It's a pretty color right now, I love big maples, I grew up IN them (yep, I was a tree climber, that's all we had to do out in the country where I was raised). I'm scared of heights now, I won't even get on a roller coaster!

Yeah I have a big wood...LOL sprung right up.
It is a red maple tree. We live in a brand new subdivision that does not have any trees. I wanted something to set my house apart from the rest (and get something to block the damn light post across the street).
