I Have a brand new holly carb that came right out the box and jus threw on my 308 with no tuning or nothing the car ran great when it was put on but now the car is hesitating to go when i hit the gas it seems deff like a fuel problem as if the car aint getting fuel and it is moving like a slug any pointers on fixing this id really appreciate it thanks:bigthumb

No everything is brand new on the engine fromthe carb to the pan everything was put on at the same time

Go back and check your timing, try and see if the squirters are working, check your float levels. How much have you run it since you got it going?

i usta drive it every other day but recentley got it out after sitting a few months drove it around the block and it acted like it didnt wanna climp the hill i might jus take it to the shop this thing needs tuned any tuners on here that would come to me for the right price:confused:

o yea and about the timing thing the car runs at idle great im starting to think its those squiters like u said or would it be best to mess with the fuel pressure im reading about 8 or 9 not shore

I would check vacume leaks you could have blown one off and does it have a choke on it? if so make sure the choke is working and not binding. You also say the car sat for awile and the problem started after that have you checked for a filter problem or just shitty gas?
