Ive seen that vid before, crazy! You should see some of these arc flash vids they show us at work. Also this email of a guy (medical equipment tech) working on an oxygen tank and it ruptures. Took the guys hand off etc...... Freaked me out when this past sat i saw a N2O bottle pegging a 1700 psi gauge.

N2O bottles should have burst disc in the valve that let go at about 3K. I have seen a burst disc let go and did scare the hell out of me at first but then it was kind of cool and it didn't cause any damage. I have seen pictures of scuba tanks that failed and it can be extremely ugly.

A customer of mine got a new garage door because the ricer across the street left his bottle warmer on for a few days. When it blew, chunks of his car came through the garage door across the street.

Only one reported bottle explosion that I know of, it was in Columbus, Ohio.

He doubled up the burst discs when installing the blow down tube and left the heater on, but with nozzle closed the pressure sensor wasn't ab;e to regulated the heater.

That is why I have my bottle warmer hooked to an ignition switch. WOW. I would rather have my key on and wait rather than this happen to my car.

That guy with the Maxima did a lot of things wrong and was the cause of the problem.

Here's a link to a story about an aluminum scuba tank failure.

I choose not to run a bottle heater, instead setting the tank in the house and then in hot water before leaving to race no those cool nights.

Never had a problem keeping 900-950 psi.

There was a 94-98 stang on corral that had a bottle rupture. Schrapnel (sp?) opened up the fuel tank. Im pretty sure it burnt to the ground.
