After going to what felt like a million different dealerships to trade in Rachel's truck on something a little more gas efficient we ended up at Holman Motors in Bethel. My dad and I have done all the computer work for both Holman stores for the last few years and they have been great to work with. Last time I was @ the Bethel location the store manager mentioned that Chevy was closing their store down next Friday and they needed to sell pretty much everything by then or Chevy was buying the vehicles back at a loss. Long story short, they gave us more for her truck than we ever expected took a bunch of money off on the vehicle we were purchasing and gave us a killer interest rate! :bigthumb :bigthumb

Yeah... :o She likes it though and with a 60mile per day roundtrip it will save us A LOT of coin. :bigthumb
I have driven one of those...I couldn't stand the POS. Rachel's actually comfortable driving it? Talk about night and day difference going from the F150 to that thing.

It is a big difference for sure but yes she is very comfortable driving it. Did you drive the 4 door sedan or the hatch? The hatch is considerably smaller. Her's is about the same size as a 4 door focus? EDIT: They also recently redesigned it so it is bigger than previous models. You can see the size difference here:

Aw come on guys...you gotta respect the Aveo! It is a huge difference going from the F-150 to the Aveo, but I'll adjust and now I can park the cracker box wherever I want instead of looking for a few open spaces in the back of every parking lot. The Aveo serves a purpose...something cheap and cheap on gas to get me to and from work, it is a long drive. It isn't the coolest of vehicles, but it is a decent drive and not hideous to look at... I'm okay with it, in fact I think it's great! I'll be out stunting next spring at the cruise in a kick ass ride, you just wait and see...it may be pony related, maybe not. ;)
And Holman Motors rocks! That was one of the smoothest car buying experiences I have ever had. Huge kudos for working out a great deal and really working with us.

Congrats Rachel! I hear gas prices are going up again, you are going to be happy you bought that car!
My mom speaks highly of Holman Motors too, she bought her 1997 Blazer there, and it's still running strong. She takes it there for regular maintenance, and they treat her good.
I did not have any luck with local Dodge dealerships when I was looking this summer. I had to go to Louisville to get my Charger, they are the only ones that would take the Excursion AND the Grand Damnit as a trade-in.

Thanks Holly. So far I love it!! Sometimes it takes a while to find the right deal and it takes some work, but it's usually worth the wait. I'm glad we stuck it out like we did, I'm very happy with the deal and so far the car rocks!

Well is it another Retro ride? Better not have a KR for part of it's name I would have to insist on a ride then! JFWY Or maybe it's Miss Daisy's new ride????

I so wish it had "KR" in the name, but I don't think that will be in the budget. You'll just have to wait and see.

Don't forget the fart can exhaust tip and rims!
