Just to play devil's advocate:

If the name is too much of a cliche (Stallion, Stampede, etc), you may turn off some buyers. I know I won't buy a product if it has a stupid name that sounds like it's pandering. There's a reason why Flowmaster and Magnaflow just use numbers to identify their products.

Ok the horse Breeds are not cool,the mustang wasnt named after a wild horse.It was named after a WW-II fighter plain so those would make no sense.The horse emblem came after the name.

I sort of agree but I do like how Magnaflow has the "Loudmouth" line though.

I think it would depend on the other characteristics of the muffler. (tone, loudness, build quality, etc...)
