Should i just shut up and go with the custom tune or should i just stick with the kenne bell CHIP?

yeah i suppose this is the wrong posting for this but its a mod engine im talking about so maybe that counts? ha sorry though

The custom tune is more convenient in the long run. I'd go with it!

a custom tune should be your only option. your car isn't the same car as the one they tested the tune on when they made it. every car is different, even if it is bone stock with only the supplied kit, chances are it is not spot on at the very least, and you are crazy if you just take their word for it. many people do it, but they usually atleast put it on the dyno with a wideband to check for piece of mind, chances are it will be fine, but if its not, a few bucks can save a ton of money and headaches;)

Yeah. Canned tunes should only be used to start the car up and limp it to the tuner.

Get it tuned. you can probably bring out a couple more ponies plus keep it from blowing up a lot less.

get it tuned...mod motors can drastically change a/f ratios with the smallest upgrade...spend the money on an SCT X CAL or Diablosport tuner and you will save on the long run..plus they can give you a couple tunes...one for the street and one for the track...that way your extra cautious!
