i am thinking about building a stroker, i eathier want a 331 or a 383. which kits are good and what are the good and bad points on those two kits.i will be putting twisted wedge heads on it...thanks,scott

Go with the Windsor stroker. It will make more power and hold alot more horsepower.

what year blocks? i heard 69 was the best and what would the numbers on the block be

Why the 383? Go with a 408 from www.adperformance.com

Yep....if your gonna build one..and basically having to buy all the supporting pieces (intake/headers)...go big. I'd build a 408...pretty much the same cost as building a 8.2" deck stroker. I wish I would have built a windsor based stroker instead of my 347.

351 based stroker for the stronger block bigger cubes. Build the biggest CID your heads will support and then some. My pick would be sell the twised wedge heads build it 400+Cid with Victors-Victor Jrs AFR 205s-225's Trick fllow R's Hell I would build a 460 shortblock If I was using a aftermarket block. It all depends on how fast you want to go . I would shop the parts at one of our site sponsors. Allways give our guys a shot at wining over your buisness.
