Someone from my husband's work rescued 6 black lab (mix) puppies out of the middle of the road on Saturday. PLEASE help me find them homes - otherwise, it's Animal Control – which means they only have 5 days. We've bathed them, sprayed them for fleas and wormed them....but we can't keep them. They are currently in a kennel in my basement since I don't have a fence. I've lost count of the number of rescue groups that I've contacted, only to be turned down due to no room. Please check with every dog person you know to see if they need a puppy.

I'm in the same situation.

My Rottie-lab is almost 2 (in December) and my German Sheppard will be 2 in January. Both are still puppies and I don't know how they'd act to having a really young puppy in the house all of a sudden. :dunno:

That kinda stuff breaks my heart though. :(

Aw, sooooo cute!!! I love dogs! I really wish I could take one, but my yard isn't big enough for a big dog and we already have 2 little ones. I think AJ would shoot me if got another dog... Aw, that little one sitting in middle staring right at the camera breaks my heart, so precious. Actually, our vet runs a lab rescue. Tell them to call 528-0700 and ask for Roncy, she's in charge of the rescue. I hope they find homes for them.

A friend at Nancy's work just called Gary and he said that they have all found homes...

WHEW! I don't know if our cat and dog would have liked to have 6 more brothers and sisters - Nancy would have never let us leave with just one!!!

Everyone of my dogs have been rescue puppies. They make great companions. Two were off the street, and the last two that we have now were from the Kenton County animal shelter. One's a Shep/Chow mix, basically a small sheppard with a curly tail and the other dog is a Great Dane/Dalmation mix. We call him Jersey since he looks like a cow :D

I got one at work from a Child Life Specialist that she forwarded on to us from someone else. I was looking for someone to adopt them, they really are cute!
