Hey guys, I need a paint gun for spraying some epoxy primer on my floorboards and undercarriage once the fab work is complete. Any recommendations? I haven't look anywhere yet for prices or anything. Thanks,
Rick

Rick, you can use mine or go to Harbor freight and pick up an HVLP touch up gun for less than 40 bucks. I used one on my engine compartment and it turned out great. Not for professional use, but still did the job.

One word of warning on the HVLP guns - they eat a lot of air, small air compressors have a hard time keeping up.

You will need a gun with a pretty good size needle an seat if that primer is very heavy. You should be able to get a cheap one at Harbor freight good enough for shooting primer.

Yeah, the one I got had two needle and hat assemblies. One for thicker and thinner materials.

I spray my primer out of a Harbor Freight HVLP $20 gun. it has a 1.3 tip, so I just go a little heavy on the Reducer to thin it out a bit. works great. ;)

I have a Binks Model 7 and love the thing to death. It is a little pricey, but cough up the cash once and never have to think about it again, ever.
