One of my buddies sent me this video
here it is the tyranosaur .577 video compilation
the rifle only weighs 13 lbs, less than half the weight of the military version .50 BMG, this rifle has been reported to achieve between 13,000 and 17,000 foot pounds of energy and has no muzzle brake, shorter barrel to keep weight down, so it uses a faster burning powder, and between 2400 and2800 fps. 50 BMG averages around 12500 lbs, and around 2400-2700 fps.
to shoot this rifle properly you need to be leaning forward about 5 degrees or more and have at least 80% of your body weight on your front leg, the last person to shoot the gun in the video is the owner of th gun, and he does it right.
