I would have LOVED to have bought a new mustang, but I got a Dodge Charger (all wheel drive) instead. I HAD to get rid of the Grand Am and Vinny's Excursion, two car payments were killing me (plus 3 FULL coverage insurance payments, including my coupe). Now I have one insurance payment and one car payment, I'm saving a bunch and I have a car that gets around in the snow. ;) It broke my heart to get rid of the coupe, but I needed the money (cash down on the new ride) to get myself out of the HOLE I was in with the Grand Am and the Excursion (owed a lot more on both of them then they retailed at).

Da coupe went to the person Vinny wanted to have it, his best friend Auston (Auston has been wanting to buy the coupe from me for a few years, Vinny teased him about it every chance he got!), but we were going to sell it to him this year anyway and get Vinny something that was better on gas (since Twisted was going to be done). And the best part, Auston still lets me drive it if I want (I have some black marks in my driveway from last weekend to prove it!). :lol: (If you have ever been in our driveway, you know what I mean, it's hard backing a 5 speed out of it without squealing some tires!)

just because it says under sticker on ebay don't mean nothing, the auction on that 1 car that is all over the internet was not a full auction.

i do the same thing all the time,

someone makes a bid, then they call, say i wanna buy, what to put the deal together, you put the deal together, then end the auction to the high bidder

i've already talked to them out there, and the car sold over sticker

I know 5 or 6 guys who got theirs for sticker over a year ago! A dealer in Cleaveland sold all 5 of theirs for sticker! If you search you can find them at Sticker now. Cali is selling them for sticker.
If you like I can get you the name. My buddy from Corsa told me about them last month. I talked tho the salesman and sales manager, they had a Vapor GT 500 with the Nav and I didn't want that color.

i'm not going to argue it with you, you've been talking these prices for 1 1/2 years and were not able to buy one for even 5k over, things haven't changed that much in the last 3 weeks

so what if they did, they are the minority, you tried to buy one for a year and a half and couldn't get one

i personally remember printing out nearly 100 dealerships with colors that you wanted and said not 1, not 1 would sell to you at 5k over sticker

i'm sure there are dealers that sold some at decent prices, but we got as much as 18k over sticker for them,

have they softened some, sure, but for the most part they are still pulling 7-8k over, i know, cuz thats how i've sold them, as recently as about 4 weeks ago, i sold to for 7800-8k over, and those were 07's

if you could have gotten one at 5k over, you would have bought one, you couldn't find one

I have nothing against you Terry since you have to make a living, but I think the idiots who are willing to pay even 1 penny over sticker deserves to milked for all their worth. Its the idiots who are willing to pay $55K for a $40K car that are keeping the real enthusiasts and sensible people from owning one. All those people who are betting they will be worth something because they are shelby's need to take a step back and look at the Cobra R's. They have far lower production numbers and I see them sell for well under sticker all the time.

but, i would have to see the buyers order and all the signed finance paperwork to believe it, no offense, but all the dealers talk and they usually try to get around the same pricing on this stuff


I've never put a penny down on any of the cars I've bought from Woodys. I've paid A plan for everyone of them. The car will be around 42K msrp, X plan should be under 40K. If they tell me a price, it's gold, I've got their word. At that dealership that still means something! How many other dealerships does that apply too! I can tell you! NOT MANY!
