I'm not 100% sure but i think it's just the stock length, but can anyone verify this for sure?

I assume you're using early 351 W heads with a 5.0 roller block and roller cam?
If so, the 6.250 length will work. Remember, earlier non-roller 302blocks had shorter lifter bores and shorter lifters, and require 6.750 pushrods.
Also, you should use necked down (3/8) to (7/16) bolts or spacers as the 351s used 3/8 diameter bolts.

I think you mean 351's use 1/2" head bolts, 302's use 7/16".

But your right, the head bolts will need to have a taper.

Sorry i should've been more specific....these are '69 351W heads, going on a roller 302 block with a roller cam and stock replacement lifters. They will need to be hardened, i just need to know the length, or if i have to pull out the checker. It would be much easier if i could just order them and do the swap instead of mocking it up and checking the length.

I would just mock it up and check them to be sure

Why I neck down small bolts to a larger size on a regular basis here!
If you're using guide plates on you pushrods, you'll need the hardened ones.

See, the problem is i'm in an apartment...i'm not big on the idea of pulling apart the top end of my engine, then ordering rods, then waiting....etc. I was just hoping that maybe someone had done this swap and recalls the length for sure so i can get everything and do it all at once, probably in one evening.

There are so many variances i would get yourself an adjustable pushrod install the heads/lifters/rockers then check them.guessing wont make you motor run.
