Hey guys,

Long story short: Got a good deal on a built nitrous motor.
It has forged Diamond pistions with a custom grind. Todd told me its near 10.5
What ever it was, it was good enough for a 300 shot on stock heads to go 11's.

So my question: What compression do I want to order when I get my pistions? (I want to be more boost friendly)

Im running a cammed (.519), mild ported gt40 heads, gt40 upper lower, 60# injectors, walboro 255, fed by an intercooled thrust bearing t70.

My goal is to have a street (93) tune and then a leaded (119) tune.

So with that in mind, what compression should I be looking for with my new pistons and secondly, is any one interesting in trading?'

Thanks!

Leave the pistons alone and put some thick cometic head gaskets and water meth and keep the timing down. Do some searching on turbomustangs.com for compression for boost

You would be better off to sell that motor buy an Explorer motor and turbo it. The internals wont matter much. Alot of people on this site have done simple setups like that and made killer power, Me included.

Or keep it real simple and just spray that. It's a good combo no need to change it.

I have my heart set on boost.

And Kelly, if you say that is they way to go then that is my final decision, I will go with meth injection.

Thanks guys.
