I agree, Texas Roadhouse is my favorite steak place. I am a pretty picky eater and I have never had anything left on my plate there.

I've at there a couple times, but i've gotta say i prefer Longhorn's ribeye...that's a damn good steak.
Texas Roadhouse kicks the crap out of every other steakhouse, and it's cheaper too.

we go to the one in hamilton, and the food is always good, it just seems as of late, it takes forever to get your food. i dont think its possible to get in and out of there in less that 1 1/2 hours, seems like no matter what day/time it is.

what i did was call and put my name on the call ahead list. they say you should call an hour ahead of time. its nice going there and walking straight to your table.

I get the 8 oz sirloin.....never a bad cut!!!!!
My sister worked at the Western Hills location for like 6 years....so that helped too. ;)

Amy loves the 18oz t bone there. I tend to vary my choice. We try to get there early before the afterwork crowd starts showing up. Having to drive past it everyday can be torture tho.

If you guys ever have the opportunity to splurge on a awsome dinner for yourself(wife/g/f/ect.)....go to the new Morton's steakhouse downtown. Jenn and I got invited to go by some friends of our to their preview night (test run night before their grand opening..aka FREE!!!:)). I got their porterhouse and Jenn got their double cut filet. Hands down by far the best steak I've ever had. You barely needed a steak knife to cut it...could basically just pull it apart with your fork. The steaks were worth every penny that they would have cost us. I think I've ruined myself for going to any normal chain steakhouse now....cause it's gonna taste like shoe leather to me. I wish I could find a butcher shop local that carried well aged beef like Morton's serves...but so far I haven't :(.

I like Texas Roadhouse. Its a nice steak especially for the price. I do prefer Long Horn though. I have never had a bad steak there and I had one of the best prime rib I have ever had the other night when I went there.
I haven't been to Morton's, but I have been to both The South Bech Grill at the Waterfront and to the Precinct. Both have good steaks as well. I thought that South Beach Grill was better, but my wife and I can eat at Long Horn 3 times for what it cost to eat at either of those places once.

Texas Roadhouse is good, but I also prefer Longhorn. I have heard the Precinct owned by Jeff Ruby has the Best steaks around, but plan on spending $100 to $150 for a complete dinner for two. Maybe for our anniversary I will take the wife there this year.

My wife and I went to the Precinct for our first anniversary. Our bill with tip and no drinks was $96. Throw in a bottle of wine or an expensive entree like lobster and you could easily spend $200+

Which one did you go to? A buddy of mine is a server at the Milford one.
I'm a little biased, but I must say, I think Outback has some of the best steaks. The strip with extra seasoning, pittsburgh style, is awesome!
