Replaced intake system with the one i bought at Cincy Speed(thanks Jason and Craig) went as expected.Few mishaps,But when i hit the key it'll start but wont run.Itll run for about 1 second and its like some one is flickin a switch and it just shuts off.Checked timing checked all hoses,replaced distibutor checked fuel psi,checked timing again and i cant find the damn problem.Some one please help,im burnt and cant figure it out.please help me.:(
My money is on a vacuum leak.

Rerouted and checked all vacuum lines.I cant figure it out i checked everything.I was up till 5 this morning lookin for stuff.The only thing i didnt change is the coil.the first time i started it i forgot to put the coil wire back on and when i started it the coil arced,Could that be it?

If it ran fine before the intake change I would say timing, vacume leak, firing order. Have you tried to give it a little gas as soon as it starts? If it a smaller vacume leak it should say running.

It'll run but it runs like ass,it misses and sounds like its hittin on only 5 cylinders.I think i cooked the coil,i heard it arc when i hit the key and i think it arced to the primary side of the coil and burnt itself.

+1 on checking the firing order, then if that doesn't fix it find a buddy with a good coil swap em out and see if that was the problem. Or the MSD blaster coil is only $40.

I would be surprised if it's your coil. I would still think firing order, timing.

And swap the TFI module, I've seen them do this. Could'a got fried during that arc-over.

There was no wire hooked up to the coil,allthough i did swap the distributor out for another one and still did the same thing.I checked firing order about 400 times and still nothing.

Remember the dizzy turns counterclockwise on a 5.0.This burns me everytime

Yea,i went to take the upper intake back off and found that one of the big ass holes underneath i forgot to plug with one if the plugs from the old intake.Man i feel like such a moron for lettin that slip by me,i even told myself to get a plug for that,and i just went ahaed and put it on not thinkin.:bangwall:.But i appreciate all the help from you guys.Tristate saturday.
Glad you got it taken care of, I have had that same situation more than once.
