Have a rebuilt 94 engine stock rebuild just curious how well it would hold up with a cam, intake, and gt-40 heads? im in process of a 331 stroker just want it to last until that is done.
It should be fine for a long long time.

It should hold up just find. A set of gt40's, decent cam and intake should make enough power to at least run mid 12's....throw a 100 shot on it for some 11's.

Yep, if the rebuild was done properly, it should last a long time at that power level.

Hell, my stock rebuild went 12.00s on motor and mid 11s on a small shot of nitrous and lasted 100k. Throw in 6500 rpm as a normal shiftpoint and a few 7000 launches, Id say its pretty damn durable.

true. but seems fine ive had it torn down put the cam in everything looks good. Even if so my 94 only has 83,000 miles on it so the engine if it "were" stock would be good for now

Our car still has the stock 95 unrebuilt short block in it with 102K miles on it. We spray it with an 82 jet in the nossel on nearly every pass! It went 11.81 @ 115mph at Kil-Kare last Sunday. I'd say it should be fine.
