Congrats! Being a home owner sucks. :kidding:

It's a great feeling to buy your first home, but I have had nothing but hassles since I bought "ours" back in March. Fix this, fix that, blah blah blah, my insurance agent has been on me for months to get stuff done, unfortunately, I didn't have the money to get everything done at once, but slowly I have been getting stuff done, with the help of my Momma, and some GREAT people from this web board. :D Everything is finally coming together, and it's a lot better putting money towards something that is yours vs. renting, where you never get anything back for it.

Congrats again, enjoy your new "crib"!

I'd love to have a 30 x 60 building, I am running out of room in my garage which is 1,100 square feet. Good luck with the new house. FYI since I built my house 1 1/2 ago I have not put $1 into either my T/A or my 07 GT for mods and it might be a while longer since I want to finish my basement.

Yep, I had to put mine on the back burner for a few years until I was able to get started again....

A house will alway increase in value and earn you $$$, but a car you will never get your $$$ out of it.

Kind of but more expensive than anything. That's where my wife is from....We looked at some houses out there off of Black Road before we but the one we are in. They were nice but I wasn't will to spend the money they wanted for those houses. 1/4 acre lots and houses with just 3bd and 2 baths started out at $190,000. Empty lots with about A 1/4 acre were $26,000 if I remember right. We will end up out there in about 3 years...It's a very nice area though. Downside is that it will be another Lakota eventually.
