Me too Mike, But what do you do but keep on moving forward ...
The motor had about 10 minutes of run time, And the one time it was driven is when the rear end locked up ...
John replaced the gears and rebuilt it, And it was driven on and off the trailer between John's and my garage ... I had pulled it outside and covered it while I finished my garage inside (insulated, Walls done, New 16' door, New side and Storm door) which took about 2 months, And when I started it to put it back it idled for about 20 seconds when it went CHUNK, And put a Big hole in the pan and the oil began pouring ...
I'm going to have to go with the 60 mph, 3000ish rpm sudden lock up of the rear end and killing the motor had something to do with weakening the rod, bolt, nut ...
But what do I know ??? LOL

Stock shortblock with my solid roller heads and exhaust might still get me a 10 ... If Not, Oh Well I can drive it !!! Maybe even make another SBZ cruise after 7 years !!! LOL

After feeling like I was kicked in the teeth at every turn with this thing, I've finally got to the point of just going back to doing Everything Myself so I know it's Done and Done RIGHT ...

Hopefully (Fingers Crossed) if all goes as planned it should be running Again in June ...
