no sooner than i shut my car off it automaticly the water temp goes straight to over the h i was wondering what could cause that or if anyone else has that issue or has had it and what they had to do to fix it thank for the infor.

I know when you shut off the motor, the temp goes up for a sec., due to the water no longer circulating. Now if the power is off and it is an electrical stock guage..... it isn't reading the temp., it has no power.

Yep...stock electric gauge will read high when it is getting less than 12+Volts.
